"We recently viewed some of Richard's cloud paintings and were stunned by their power and beauty. We decided then and there that we would like to commision Richard to paint a cloud for us. He came to our house and we looked at some other examples of his clouds and photographs taken to inspire his work. We talked about what we would like – the size, the type of cloud formation and where it would have the most impact in our house. Richard then emailed us a short list for us to make our final selection.

Once we had decided Richard set about working on the piece keeping us up to date with his progress – always full of energy, passion and enthusiasm.

When the finished painting, entitled 'Fire' arrived it was so much more impressive than we imagined it could be, and what is so marvellous is that with the changing light of the day the cloud takes on different appearances – it seems sometimes to almost move, change colour and shape. Many people have asked about the painting and about the artist. and we are proud and thrilled to have it hanging in our house."
